I have been appointed to teach at the Dep. of Clothing and Textiles, Helwan University, Cairo, Egypt, since I graduated in 1998. Since May 2019, I have been promoted to a tenure full professor of Fashion Design at the same organization. I am currently in a secondment to teach at the Dep. of Fashion Design, Faculty of Human Sciences and Designs, King Abdul-Aziz University, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. I also worked as a part-time associate professor of fashion design at the Faculty of Arts and Design, University of Modern Sciences and Arts, Cairo, Egypt as well as in the Dep. of Arts and Design at Jeddah International College, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Co-Founder and Deputy Manager

I am the Deputy-Manager and co-founder of "Establishing the Faculty of Fashion Arts Project" at Helwan University. The project aims at establishing the first and foremost faculty in the middle east that is completely focused on fashion design and industry. The project has been successful, and the new Faculty is approved by the Council of Ministers as well as the Supreme Council of Universities in Egypt.

I supervised many Ph. D. and Master's theses and dissertations as well as post-graduate research in the field of fashion design and fashion industry as I teach mainly to postgraduate students. Teaching Research Methods to postgraduate students from different disciplines is the course I enjoy teaching the most. I also work as a Research Methods Consultant at the Unit of Research and Innovation at King Abdul-Aziz University.

National Center for Faculty and Leadership Development (NCFLD), Egypt and other Organizations
As a Trainer of Trainers (ToT) and Human Resources Development Consultant and expert, I designed and delivered a large number and variety of training programs to various segments and types of audience. I worked as an expert and consultant under the NCFLD to help university professors and leaders in many Egyptian universities from 2011 to 2013. Afterward, I worked mainly under the IBCT-MENA towards the same goal.

Design Costume for Stage and TV shows, Egypt
I designed for a number of stage shows that were presented on national theaters since 2001. I also won the Défilé Creation Fashion Design Prize in 1999. In 2016-2017 I designed the costumes of Geddo Sherif puppet in the famous TV show Sherif Street on CBC channel.
